Vivo is a Chinese multinational technology company that designs and develops smartphones, smartphone accessories, software, and online services.
Based on reports, Vivo said during an event on Tuesday that it will introduce a mixed reality (MR) headset next year. The wearable will attempt to compete with Apple Vision Pro. Vivo aims to unveil the mixed reality headgear next year; however, details are yet unknown.
Launch Date
The first prototype is expected to arrive in the second half of 2025.
By late 2025, the Vivo MR device will be the subject of “high-fidelity prototype experiences” in a number of Chinese cities.
An executive from the company stated that the precise date of the sale is still unknown and will rely on how prepared the supporting content ecosystems are.
